Both of arc furnace and electrode paste were invented by Elken. However, what I want to tell you is that the electrode paste product is improved by Gongyi people. Anode scrap is now added to the electrode paste production. In Dawukou, Ningxia, Elken is still using electric calcined coal. Although the electric calcined coal electrode paste has good fluidity, the strength and oxidation resistance are not as good as those of the electrode paste which the anode scrap is added in.
